West Virginia Congresswoman Learns About Advances In Vending During Visit To NAMA Members

Sept. 9, 2013

West Virginia Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, R-WV, recently visited Royal Vendors and Automated Merchandising Systems (AMS) to learn about the vending industry and the latest technology.

“Congresswoman Capito’s visit to two of NAMA’s key vending machine manufacturers was an effective way to demonstrate the power and scope of our industry,” said Eric Dell, NAMA’s senior vice president of government affairs, in a prepared statement. “She is a supporter of manufacturing in America and during these events, she saw industry innovations first-hand.”

"We were honored and delighted to host Rep. Capito here at our newly expanded AMS facilities," said Sharon Shull, president of AMS in Kearneysville, WV. “Most important, we wanted to show her that AMS's operational investments reflect our ongoing commitment to manufacturing quality products and creating valuable jobs, directly supporting local economies across the state," she continued.

"Rep. Capito's visit to Royal Vendors is an important step toward providing our elected officials with an up-close look at our area of the vending industry," said Kevin Ward, president and COO of Royal Vendors, Inc. in Kearneysville, WV. “Our goal was to give her a perspective into the significant contribution that our industry has made -and will continue to make- in manufacturing and technology.”
