U.S. Chewing Gum Sales Expected To Decline Further

While the gum sector has been a consistent performer in the past, economic conditions leading to less spending by consumers has produced falling consumption levels in North America specifically, according to Confectionery News. Declining numbers of the target consumer – children and teenagers, is another reason consumption has been falling.
