NAMA Represents Vending At Chicago HR Conference

June 26, 2013

NAMA President and CEO Carla Balakgie, joined by COO Dan Mathews, Vice President Dean Gilland and Director Roger Stewart, participated in the world’s largest human resources (HR) conference and tradeshow held in Chicago June 20.

As part of the NAMA strategic plan, the team continued the outreach effort to communicate the benefits of providing refreshment services, including micro markets, coffee, tea and water, to employees in the workplace. They took this message directly to key decision makers – HR professionals.

“This was a significant opportunity to interact with more the 15,000 leaders in human resources and business who attend this annual event,” according to Gilland. “We maximized the potential to inform and influence this audience with key metrics around the importance of micro markets, coffee, tea and water as a value-add to employees in the workplace.”

“Our intention is to leverage the contacts we made into leads for our members, helping to foster growth for them,” he continued. “We are confident that we laid the groundwork for this important next step in making the objectives spelled out in our NAMA strategic plan a reality.”

NAMA’s leadership met with several member companies who also attended the event, including Everpure, Aramark, Avanti, Canteen, Company Kitchen, Coinstar and Pod Pack International.
