Utah Hospital Welcomes Coca-Cola ‘Freestyle’ Machine

The Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah was recently chosen by the Coca-Cola Co. to house its new “Freestyle” Coke machine, according to The Daily Universe, the campus newspaper at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Editor’s Insight: While Coca Cola Co.’s plans for the Freestyle machine remain largely confidential, many beverage and refreshment service operators believe that this machine has the potential to revolutionize beverage refreshments.

The machine was on display at the recent National Automatic Merchandising Association OneShow in Chicago. Even though the company has not indicated introducing a vending application, the exhibit drew an ongoing flow of traffic at the recent trade show due to its ease of use, quality control, and limited footprint. 06-13-11 by Elliot Maras
