Refrigeration manufacturer Due North will unveil three new refrigerated merchandisers at the NAMA Show in Las Vegas. The models, introduced under the company’s QBD and Minus Forty brands, mark the first major product rollout under its new “Idea to Aisle” initiative. The launches expand Due North’s Energy Star-recognized portfolio and are designed to support quicker deployment for micro markets and food service environments, among others.
Among the new units is a 48” open-air merchandiser under the Minus Forty brand. Available in standard and shallow-depth formats, the model targets fresh food and beverage sales with refrigeration systems suited for grab-and-go merchandising.
Another model is a 23-ft3 high capacity cooler, also from Minus Forty. Built on the platform of the brand’s 22-ft3 predecessor, the new version increases product capacity without requiring additional floor space.
The company also is introducing a three-door cooler available in both sliding and swing door configurations, branded under QBD.
All three new systems use Due North’s proprietary Cooling Cassette Deck, designed for simplified maintenance and long-term reliability.
What they are saying
Due North executives say the launches reflect the company’s emphasis on speed-to-market, durable design and merchandising adaptability. “Our engineering team prioritizes performance that retailers and brands can rely on, day after day,” said Sean McGrann, chief commercial officer at Due North. “From energy efficiency to ease of maintenance, every detail is built to help maximize uptime, sales, and merchandising flexibility.”
