Treasury Secretary Calls Into Question $20 Redesign With Harriet Tubman

Sept. 5, 2017

The Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has called into a question the redesign of the $20 bill that would replace Andrew Jackson with Harriet Tubman, according to the New York Times. Mnuchin wouldn't endorse the change saying they would consider it at some point, but there were more important issues to focus on during an interview. Trump was noted as saying he would like to leave Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill when the decision was announced last April.
