Vending machines at the Welcome Center on I-69 have been the target of multiple burglaries over the last several weeks, according to WTVB. Michigan State Police report that the first incident took place on Aug. 16 followed by other vending machine burglaries on Aug. 22 and more recently Aug. 27.
Money was taken from the machines after they were pried open, however, the amount of cash stolen was not revealed.
