Meat Vending Machine Keeps A Michigan Smokehouse Storefront Open 24/7

April 22, 2019

At a time when the vending industry is seeing more expansion into coffee and micro markets, vending machines are becoming more commonplace. Recently Barrett's Smokehouse in Oshtemp Township, MI started operating a vending machine outside a sports center that sells brats, burgers, marinated chicken, jerky, hot dogs, steak, and a lot more, according to MLive.com. The vending machines offer consumers the opportunity to shop  for evening barbeques or camping trips when the Smokehouse retail store is closed. The machine also has some drinks and snack items.

The general manager of Barrett's Smokehouse told Mlive.com that the items in the machine are replaced daily and the temperature is closely monitored. The temperature is even on the vending machine display.
