Iowa City Votes To Replace Concessions With Vending Machine

In Missouri Valley, IA, the city council recently voted to try vending machines at the aquatic center instead of hiring staff to operate the concession stand, according to Missouri Valley Times News. Budget concerns led to the change as it will save the city money and add revenue. A commission of 10 percent of the funds from the summer season is in the contract.
