The latest report uses DoorPass and DoorDash order data from Jan. 1, 2021, to Oct. 1, 2021, to see what consumers ordered most. It offers some useful insights to other merchants and retailers, including vending and micro market operators.

Based in San Francisco, DoorDash reportedly commands 56% market share in the online food delivery space. Its market share in the convenience delivery category is said to be slightly higher. It generated almost $2.9 billion in revenue in 2020.
On Feb. 8, 2021, DoorDash announced its acquisition of Chowbotics, which developed a salad-making robot.
