U.S. Senator Asks EPA To Lessen Ethanol Requirements In Gasoline

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is being encouraged to consider removing the ethanol requirements in gasoline as a way to deal with the diminished corn crop due to the summer droughts, according to NBC News. U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), has already written a letter encouraging the EPA to modify its ethanol requirements under the Renewable Fuel Standards. Full article
