Conagra debuts fresh single-serve frozen meals across its brands

Single-serve frozen meals offer convenience at home or on the go, and Conagra seeks to cater to that market with new offerings from chefs and partners.

• Dolly Parton’s line expands to include four single-serve Southern comfort food frozen meals. Offerings include Beef Pot Roast, Chicken & Dumplings, Country Fried Steak and Shrimp & Grits.
• Banquet has teamed up with Mike’s Hot Honey to debut a Mike's Hot Honey Chicken Mac 'N Cheese Mega Bowls. Banquet is also introducing Sweet & Sour Chicken Mega Bowls and two Carved Turkey and Spicy Crispy Chicken Mega Meats dishes.
• A sales leader in the $2.1 billion better-for-you single-serve meals category, according to Circana, Healthy Choice has six new frozen meals. Among the offerings are Café Steamers Chicken Lo Mein; Simply Steamers Three Cheese Tortellini; Power Bowls Vodka Chicken Pasta; and Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes meal.
• Marie Callender’s is introducing four new meals: Fried Chicken & Mashed Potato Bowl, Creamy Garlic & Herb Chicken & Rice Bowl, Sweet & Spicy BBQ-Sauced Chicken, and Garlic Butter Steak Bites.
• Indian-inspired recipes are the fastest-growing segment in single-serve frozen meals, with 18% sales growth over the past three years, according to Circana. evol Foods enters the space with Butter Chicken.
• Frontera Foods introduces Beef Enchiladas with Red Sauce, bringing chef-inspired Mexican flavors to the frozen aisle.
• Classic comfort food is the order of the day from Hungry-Man, which debuts Chicken Fried Steak.

For consumers seeking better-for-you gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian offerings, Conagra offers Gardein’s Ultimate Plant-Based Fried Chick'n Mac & Cheeze Bowl as well as Purple Carrot frozen single-serve meals, including Portobello Mushroom Ravioli.

Conagra is also introducing family-size meals, new frozen vegetable mixes and breakfast items.
