On the Ohio State campus, the meat science program and Ohio Pork Council are partnering to offer students ready-to-eat bacon through a vending machine, according to 10TV. Members of the meat science program will stock and maintain the machine, which is offering shelf-stable bacon strips and bits provided by Hormel, Sugardale and Smithfield for $1 until December 13.
