The International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) has releases its revised estimates of world production, grindings and stocks of cocoa beans for the 2017/2018 cocoa year.
The estimate in world production dropped slightly from 4645 to 4638 thousand tonnes. The ICCO reported that a -2.2 percent drecrease year-on-year (YOY) change. World grindings changed from 4568 to 4570 with a +3.9 percent YOY change. Surplus went from +31 to +22.
The data published in Issue No. 4 - Volume XLIV - Cocoa year 2017/2018 of the Quarterly Bulletin of Cocoa Statistics, reflect the most recent information available to the Secretariat as at the beginning of November 2018.
