Barrett Vending was recently given accolades for a seamless, large scale vending upgrade at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The article, featured on JSC Features, discussed how Barrett Vending replaced more than 100 vending machines across JSC, Sonny Carter Training Facility and Ellington Field. Not only was it done efficiently, but with minimal disruption to staff which was important to the facility. The machines are now compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines and include more flexible cashless payment acceptance. The source notes that the vending machines accept Apple Pay and Android Pay as well as debit and credit cards without a surcharge attached.

In addition to traditional vending items, Barrett Vending also added a wide variety of healthier items in the vending machines denoted with a green sticker for easier identification. In the Mission Control Center is a new micro market specifically designed for "time-constrained" employees who work around the clock, reports the source.
