PHOENIX, Ariz. (September 29, 2016) Fixturelite announces the addition of a new national sales manager, Janette Carter, a veteran of the vending industry.
“The office breakroom, especially with regard to micro markets and OCS is changing rapidly from a focus of function, to one of creating an experience for the workplace employee," said Fixturelite Co-Founder, Steve Orlando. "Janette’s industry experience as a broker for the past 25 years, allowed her to work with most of our industry suppliers, distributors and operators. Her marketing expertise has provided proven results in strategic brand development, market-share growth, and developing sales plans and execution.”
Fixturelite is on the forefront to provide high-quality retail design solutions to the Micro Market and Business Dining/Café Operator. Prior to discovering the Convenience Services industry, Janette was in the Interior Design business. Per Orlando, “Janette’s design background expertise brings an added value to our clients when designing their location and room layouts. We felt that Janette was a natural fit to fill the roll of National Sales Manager.”

Prior to joining Fixturelite, Carter worked for 12 years at a regional brokerage company, Atnip Co., and went on start a successful brokerage as the President and managing partner of FOCUS 365 for nearly ten years. Per Carter, “It was a risky move to establish the first new brokerage company within our industry that was female managed, however so many industry peers supported us, that we quickly saw success”. Carter sold the company in 2014, and stayed on for 2 years to ensure a smooth transition.
Carter currently serves on four NAMA boards/committees: WIN board (Women in the Industry), Office Coffee Committee/CTW, NAMA’s Foundation Board, and Trade Show Advisory Council. Carter also serves on the California Vending Council (CAVC) Board of Directors, and is actively involved with the Arizona Vend Council (AAMC).
