Coin Cloud installs digital currency machines in 500 UNFI locations

Coin Cloud, an operator of digital currency machines, or DCMs, said it now has more than 3,500 DCM kiosks installed in the U.S. and Brazil. The company's installed DCM base in United Natural Foods Inc.’s customer stores recently reached 500.

Rhode Island-based UNFI is the largest publicly traded wholesale distributor of health and specialty food products in the U.S. and Canada. It is the main supplier to Whole Foods Markets.

In addition to UNFI, Coin Cloud has retail partnerships with CAL's Convenience Stores and locations affiliated with the National Alliance of Trade Associations. 

Coin Cloud's DCMs allow users to instantly buy (with cash) and sell bitcoin and more than 30 other digital currencies.
