Restaurants December Sales Growth Highest Since 2015

Restaurants had a good year. According to Nation's Restaurant News, the same-store sales growth was 2 percent for December 2018, the highest it's been since August 2015. December was also the seventh consecutive month of positive growth for the industry. The average amount of a guest's check grew by 3.1 percent year over year in the final quarter of 2018, says the source.
