Snyder's-Lance Rumored To Be Cutting Weaker Brands

June 23, 2017

Bakeryandsnacks.com has reported that Snyder's-Lance will begin trimming brands that are only driving a small percentage of revenue in favor of expanding stronger brands. The move is based on 50 percent of SKUs generating only 5 percent of revenue and making the manufacturing footprint complex, according to a quote attributed to CFO Alex Pease during the DbAccess Global Consumer Conference.

Sandwich crackers and Kettle Chips will likely expand, whereas Pop Secret has suffered and therefore may be trimmed.
