US Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Market Growing At 3% CAGR To 2019

Nov. 13, 2015

According to a Quick Service Restaurant Market in the US 2015-2019 report from R&R Market Research, the US QSR industry is forecasted to grow at a CAGR 3.11% in terms of revenue over the period 2014 - 2019, lower than the global growth rate of 5% for the same time period. This report also throws light on the demographic profile of the US, the restaurant industry in the US, and the casual dining restaurant market in the US including key drivers (more menu customization) and challenges (requirement for large labor force).

Editor’s note: As a main competitor for the consumer’s food dollar, the fact that quick service restaurants are growing is a double edged sword. They will continue to present a strong lure to employees away from the break room. On the positive side, the expected growth means vending, and more so micro markets, will likely also see increased revenues as consumers opt for away from home meals more often.
