Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company Places LED Sign, Calls It A Corpus Christi Landmark
Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau reports: “There are 8.65 million visitors a year coming to the Corpus Christi area. These are overnight visitors staying at area hotels. 88% of these visitors are “Drive Market”, meaning they drive in from San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Rio Grande Valley and other Texas cities.”
According to the local Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, CEO, Julia Kriegel, “Corpus Christi welcomes close to 9 million visitors each year. Our business is located on the inbound side of South Padre Island Drive. This location is in route to Corpus Christi’s Commercial District, Gulf Coast, tourist attractions and related fun in the sun water activities. With its high traffic count and uncluttered view, our location is an invaluable visual advertising location.”
Kriegel states “I believe this sign brings a new competitive advantage to our company. It will do more than just advertise products and services provided by Everest Water and Coffee Service, Sunrise Vending and Pepsi Cola. This LED sign gives us the opportunity to highlight our community attractions, community events, welcome visitors to Corpus Christi with time and temperature as well as highlight the many great charities we partner with in our community.”
A Ribbon Cutting ceremony is scheduled for October 14th, 2015 to celebrate the newest feature to the Pepsi Cola building. Local and city dignitaries, including the city mayor, will be present to help with the festivities.
