Des Moines, IA, To Offer Fresh Produce Via Vending Machines In Food Deserts

The Community Foundation for Greater Des Moines has awarded $30,000 to Robotics Retail, who will provide vending machines that sell fresh produce where it is not locally available in Des Moines, IA, according to the Des Moines Register.  Robotics Retail builds vending-machine-style food retailers and is a partnership between Eat Greater Des Moines and Oasis24seven, reports the source.
