U.S. Gasoline Prices Reach New 2014 Low

Following a drop in crude oil futures, U.S. gasoline prices reached a new year-low earlier this month, according to AAA. The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline reached $3.20 per gallon, representing a 2014 low and the lowest average for the Columbus Day holiday since 2010. AAA reports that four percent of U.S. gas stations are selling gasoline for $3.00 per gallon or less and suspects that percentage to significantly increase over the next several months. Full article.
