Government Tweaks Affordable Care Act For Larger Companies, Delays Mid-Size Compliance Deadline

The government recently announced temporary changes to the Affordable Care Act making it possible for larger companies, those with 100 employees or more, to avoid penalties by providing care to 70 percent of full-time workers for the next year, according to the Associated Press. Additionally, mid-size companies, 50 to 99 employees have been given an extra year, until 2016, to comply with the healthcare law requirements. Full article
