Man Faces Charges After Posing As Repairman To Steal Money From Vending Machines

Olaf H. Beckmann of Minnesota is facing charges after authorities say he posed as a repairman in order to steal money from vending machines, according to FOX 43. The crimes reportedly happened in 2014 when the suspect entered two businesses in Upper Allen Township, PA, drilled the vending machine locks and stole the cash inside.

Detectives with the Douglas County (Wisconsin) Sheriff’s Office assisted in identifying Olaf Beckmann as the suspect in these incidents. An arrest warrant was obtained and Beckmann surrendered to police on August 8, 2016. 

Beckmann was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and theft by deception, the source reports.
