Frank Lail, the owner of Hav-A-Cup Coffee Service in Hickory, N.C., recently passed away. Lail had been owner and president since the business began in 1980 in North Carolina.
Lail's coffee service career began 45 years ago when he started working for Standard Coffee Service. More than a decade later, he decided to start his own business, Easy Break Coffee Service, which later became Hav-A-Cup Coffee Service in Florida. Eventually he sold his part of Hav-A-Cup Coffee Service in Florida and moved to Hickory N.C., where his father was from, to start a new business with his two sons and daughters.
"Our father will be truly missed," said Lester Lail, vice president, Hav-A-Cup Coffee Service, in a prepared statement.
