Coca-Cola Asked To Remove BVO From Powerade

Following PepsiCo Inc.’s announcement that it would no longer feature brominated vegetable oil (BVO) in its Gatorade beverages, the Coca-Cola Co. is now being petitioned to follow suit with Powerade, according to The Huffington Post. The petition was started by 15-year-old Sarah Kavanagh who also ran the petition against BVO in PepsiCo’s Gatorade. Full article
