A proposal to increase the minimum wage in New Jersey from $7.25 to $8.25 and tie future increases to the Consumer Price Index has passed state Assembly, according the N.J. News. If approved in 2013 by both the Assembly and Senate, it will be on the November 2013 ballot. Full article.
