Editor’s Insight: Massachusetts lawmakers deserve credit for deciding to study this proposal further before saddling consumers with an additional cost. The container deposit serves a good purpose, but there is a cost for it which ultimately gets passed on to consumers. 05-29-12 By Elliot Maras
