Jan Gordon has joined Unified Vending Management (UVM), a subsidiary of Unified Strategies Group (USG), the buying cooperative, as national accounts manager.
Gordon will be responsible for building USG Co-op’s book of vending management business.

Gordon joins USG from First Class Vending, a large USG operator, based in Los Angeles. Calif. She started her career in vending with a small operator in Los Angeles as an administrative assistant. She worked her way up from starting in the money room, to fulfilling product orders, to managing route driver schedules. One day, her boss suggested she “drive around and get some new business.” That was the beginning of her successful sales career.

UVM is part of USG, which is one of the largest group purchasing organizations for vending, coffee service and food service in the U.S. On an annual basis the USG Co-op represents approximately $2 billion of product purchases for resale in vending machines, OCS and cafeterias. The organization is comprised of 700 member owners with over $4 billion in retail sales.
