Washington DC Café Bets On Nitro Hot Coffee As Next Trend

Cold brew sales are soaring. Add nitro to the mix and the drink turns into a craft beverage. A coffee shop in Washington DC is working to bring the same taste experience nitro delivers in cold brew to hot coffee. According to The Washington City Paper,  Alchemist Coffee Company brews the coffee, flash chills it, infuses it with nitrogen, stores it without oxygen and then heats it prior to serving. The process delivers a better cup of coffee, says the owner Tyler Philips.
