More and more businesses are elevating their office coffee programs from insurance companies to professional services, discusses a recent article on JLL Real Views. The change of adding more cafe-like experiences on-site isn't just about saving the employee time and money (which is does) but also establishing better connections between colleagues and being more productive. It's at war with the old view that if employees are not at their desk, they aren't working. Instead, the focus is on casual meetings and collaboration with an inviting coffee area that includes cold brew, quality beans, high-end brewers, etc.
