Ramon Travieso, long-time vending and office coffee service operator, has fulfilled one of his lifelong dreams, to bring Cuban-style coffee to the U.S. He started work in 2012, crafting a custom blend of the finest coffee beans to capture the essence of Cuba. Travieso calls his coffee Habana Cubano style coffee. It is a rich, complex Cuban-style with a smooth finish. Currently, he offers the coffee in two blends: Havana Nights – a dark-dark artisanal blend and Santiago de Cuba – a dark, bold blend.
The coffee is even being featured in a Cuba exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in New York, according to Travieso. The brand has also been picked up by a number of food retailers in the Midwest.
