Cold weather in Kenya may affect the country’s coffee crop. According to Bloomberg, the plants need at least a month of dry weather to prepare for flowering. If the cold weather and rain persist, rather than flowering, the trees become vegetative.
Additionally, the cold weather could support the spread of Coffee Berry Disease.
