Gourmet Coffee Service Signs Long Term Distribution Deal With Nespresso

Oct. 21, 2015

October 2015 – Van Nuys, CA – Gourmet Coffee Service, a leading provider of office refreshment solutions, has partnered with Nespresso to bring the brand’s popular single-serve espresso and coffee machines to Los Angeles County and Orange County office environments.

“The idea of these machines is pretty simple,” said Matthew Townsend of Nespresso. “Make one cup of espresso! What sets Nespresso machines apart is how the coffee is made, ease of cleanup, brewing time and overall quality.” According to Townsend, senior management often request Nespresso, and the brand holds a high consideration rate and potential for market share growth. “We find that most influential senior managers in Los Angeles reside in Fortune 1000 companies. Having a partner in Gourmet Coffee Service will help us target these key accounts,” said Townsend.

Nespresso’s Grand Cru coffees and espressos offer high-quality roasts via single serve pods. The single-cup category was rated as the fastest-growing for office coffee service, according to Study Logic. The same study projected 7% growth for Los Angeles in 2015 over other major cities.

“We are very excited to join forces with Nespresso,” said Bob Tullio, VP of Business Development for Gourmet Coffee Service. “For some time, our clients have been asking for Nespresso, brewed on professional equipment, managed through our refreshment services program. It’s another opportunity to spoil our terrific client base.”

Gourmet Coffee Service currently offers the Zenius coffee and espresso maker.
