ICO: October Coffee Prices Reach 2.5 Year High

The average monthly coffee price reached a two and a half year high at 172.88 US cents per pound in October, according to the International Coffee Organization (ICO). The ICO composite price in the beginning of the month gained 15 cents in six days but leveled out near the end of October. Total exports at the end of coffee year 2013/14 reached 111.3 million bags, the second highest level on record. Full report.
