KDP acquires Dyla, expanding hydration enhancers offerings
Keurig Dr Pepper acquired full ownership of Dyla Brands, a producer of powdered drink mixes and liquid flavor enhancers. In announcing the acquisition, KDP cited its 2025 State of Beverage report, which found that 59% of Americans rate ‘new flavors’ as the winning attribute that motivates new beverage trials, and that 60% of Americans are interested in trying flavored water with added antioxidants and vitamins.
KDP had held a minority stake in Dyla since 2017. Its product line includes the liquid flavor enhancer Stur as well as licensed offerings under KDP-owned trademarks such as Crush, Hawaiian Punch, 7UP and Snapple. Dyla also has existing partnerships with third-party brands, such as Dole, Ocean Spray and C4; these partnerships will continue under KDP’s new ownership.
KDP also expects the acquisition to complement its existing Ghost functional powders business.
