KDP acquires Dyla, expanding hydration enhancers offerings

July 28, 2025
Keurig Dr Pepper is doubling down on flavored water and hydration innovation with the acquisition of Dyla Brands, the maker of Stur and other liquid and powdered drink enhancers. The move aligns with growing U.S. consumer interest in flavorful, functional beverages and further builds on KDP’s portfolio of powdered drink products.

Keurig Dr Pepper acquired full ownership of Dyla Brands, a producer of powdered drink mixes and liquid flavor enhancers. In announcing the acquisition, KDP cited its 2025 State of Beverage report, which found that 59% of Americans rate ‘new flavors’ as the winning attribute that motivates new beverage trials, and that 60% of Americans are interested in trying flavored water with added antioxidants and vitamins.

KDP had held a minority stake in Dyla since 2017. Its product line includes the liquid flavor enhancer Stur as well as licensed offerings under KDP-owned trademarks such as Crush, Hawaiian Punch, 7UP and Snapple. Dyla also has existing partnerships with third-party brands, such as Dole, Ocean Spray and C4; these partnerships will continue under KDP’s new ownership.

KDP also expects the acquisition to complement its existing Ghost functional powders business.
