Bill To Protect Cash Sees Support In Congress

A bill from Rep. Donald M. Payne Jr., a Democrat from New Jersey, that would ban cashless stores has received considerable support in Congress, with 41 co-sponsors, RollCall reports.

The bill has received additional attention due to the coronavirus pandemic, since, as industry professionals report, the use of cash has declined.
