Magic Spoon launches protein pastries for on-the-go breakfast

Magic Spoon has expanded its breakfast lineup with two new product launches: Protein Pastries and Marshmallow Protein Cereal.

The Protein Pastries come in Frosted Strawberry, Cinnamon Brown Sugar and S’mores. Magic Spoon said each serving provides 11 g of protein, 6 g of fiber and 2 g of added sugar, with 3 g of total sugar. The company described the pastries as a portable option for portable breakfasts and on-the-go snacking.

Magic Spoon also introduced Marshmallow Protein Cereal in Classic Marshmallow and S’mores varieties. The crispy loop and marshmallow cereal has 12 g of protein and 3 g of sugar per serving.

“Consumers love nostalgic classics but increasingly expect better nutrition than those products have traditionally offered,” Magic Spoon co-founder and chief executive officer Gabi Lewis said in the release.
