A new single-serve collection from Little Debbie includes classic favorites as well as new sweet treats.
“These new enticing treats are crafted to satisfy the growing demand for premium, individually wrapped snacks,” said Chuck Clevenger, associate brand manager at McKee Foods, in a release.
The new convenience package products include Nutty Buddy Cakes, a soft yellow sponge cake layered with peanut butter filling and chocolate frosting coating; Deluxe Cinnamon Roll, a 4oz cinnamon-swirled bun with icing; Cheese Danish, a 4oz cheese-topped sweet bun with a icing drizzle; Cream Cheese Streusel Cakes, twin-wrapped golden vanilla cakes topped with cream cheese and a buttery streusel crumble; Pound Cakes, twin-wrapped golden vanilla cakes; and Cinnamon Streusel Cakes, twin-wrapped coffee cakes, each topped with cinnamon crumb.
The single-serve collection is available now through McKee Foods’ distribution network, including national broadline and convenience distributors that supply the vending and micro market channel.
For convenience services operators, the formats expand merchandising options in micro markets, vending machines and OCS pantry programs. Individually wrapped bakery-style items continue to be a performer in workplace snacking, offering portion control, freshness and portability.
