Little Debbie Mini Muffins expand grab-and-go options for micro markets
McKee Foods is adding Little Debbie Mini Muffins to the vending channel, introducing two flavors designed for grab-and-go snacking. Convenience services operators can order the blueberry and chocolate chip varieties through the company’s foodservice catalog.
The shelf-stable, bite-sized mini muffins are suitable for workplace and hospitality micro markets, hospital vending and university dining locations, where consumers look for quick, portable snacks. Each pouch is packaged for freshness and coded with a Julian date to help operators manage product rotation and maintain shelf life.
Both Little Debbie Blueberry Mini Muffins and Little Debbie Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins come in 2.5-ounce servings, with six muffins per pouch. For operational efficiency, each variety is sold in a 40-count case comprising eight caddies, with five wraps per caddie. According to McKee Foods, the ready-to-go packaging is intended to simplify stocking and merchandising.
