Haribo expands gummy lineup with Balla Bites and sour variety

New Haribo gummies give convenience and refreshment operators another poppable candy option designed around flavor and texture variety.

Haribo launched Balla Bites and Balla Bites Sour, two bite-sized gummies that combine multiple textures and fruity flavors.

Each piece has a chewy outer layer and a soft center, with three flavors in every bite. The products are available in sweet and sour varieties and are made without artificial colors.

Flavor combinations include orange, blackberry, lemon, strawberry, apple and wild berry.

Sophia Lewis, senior brand manager at Haribo of America, said in a statement that the products were developed as consumers seek candy with unexpected textures, flavors and eating experiences. “With two different textures and three flavors in every tiny bite, Balla Bites and Balla Bites Sour deliver a new sensory experience with every pop.”

The launch gives convenience and refreshment services operators another portable candy option suited to impulse purchases, sharing occasions and on-the-go snacking.

Balla Bites expands Haribo’s U.S. gummy portfolio, which includes Goldbears, Twin Snakes, Peaches and Sour Sodas.
