Norm Technology has announced the addition of Mark Giroux to their leadership team. Mark joins the Norm team after a long and distinguished career leading sales for Royal Vendors and SuzoHapp. Mark will spearhead the growth of the Norm brand as the company Vice-President, with a specific focus on growing sales and product development.
”I have always had a passion for this industry and for being the expert my clients counted on for high quality, reliable and cost-effective merchandising solutions.” Mr. Giroux said. “I am beyond thrilled to be part of taking the Norm brand to a whole new level bringing an even better solution to the marketplace”.
Norm Technology is a division of Three Square Market (32M), the self service innovation leader. “Norm functions as a completely separate brand” added Mr. Giroux. “The Norm brand is already a provider to numerous clients who use a variety of the self service systems let alone prior to my arrival, the leadership team has done an excellent job breaking the Norm brand in to other markets; I am excited to keep the momentum going.”
“Mark is thrilled....we are beyond thrilled” said Patrick McMullan, President of 32M. “He is a hall of famer and his reputation alone adds instant credibility to our brand and commitment to growing this business."
Norm carries a complete menu of merchandising solutions from single and double door coolers, hybrid models and frozen products. Plus, Norm also carries a full line of display merchandisers for dry goods, coffee stations, hotels, convenience stores and more. “I think the best thing about the Norm brand is that we are a one-stop shop for merchandising solutions” added Giroux. “I am excited for the ride ahead."
Mark joins the Norm Tech team with a lengthy track record of success dating back to his first role at Coca Cola. Originally from Canada, Mark joined Coke after graduating from the University of Michigan. Mark was an All-American goalie for the Wolverine hockey team playing for coaching legend Red Berenson. Under his leadership, Royal Vendors became a global brand. Under his guidance, Norm will branch out not only in the vending industry but throughout retail channels globally.
Norm is already certified in multiple countries and just recently had several new models certified. And in late 2019, Norm will be debuting their new 34 line which is certain to change the dynamics of the convenience industry. These new products are all 34” wide with components that are strong enough to cool the bigger unit but efficient enough to earn energy efficiency certifications. “The 34 series will increase sales and make the operators far more efficient because they will have more product on hand at locations yet have to make less trips” added Mr. Giroux. “It is a merchandiser designed for the convenience industry."
Mark will continue to be based in St. Louis , MO where he and his family have resided for decades. In his spare time, Mark and his wife, Mary Fran, love spending time their kids and spoiling their grandchildren.
