Leadership shifts at Tropicana Brands, NatureSweet
Executive changes at Tropicana Brands Group and NatureSweet highlight renewed focus on innovation and premium, better-for-you products across micro market and pantry channels.
Paul Chibe was named chief executive officer of Tropicana Brands Group, effective immediately. He most recently served as CEO of Pabst Brewing Co. Before Pabst, he was president and CEO of Ferrero North America, U.S. chief marketing officer at Anheuser-Busch InBev, and held senior leadership positions at Wrigley.
Glen Walter, who has shepherded Tropicana Brands Group as CEO since TBG was established in 2022 as a joint venture between PAI Partners and PepsiCo, will remain with the fresh and chilled beverages maker in an advisory role through the end of the year.
In other news, Paul Bonvehi was named chief financial officer at NatureSweet, a provider of greenhouse-grown vegetables. Most recently, he served as CFO at Martori Farms, with senior leadership stints at Driscoll’s and Reiter.
Innovation in the fresh and chilled food and beverage category is important as customers seek premium and better-for-you options in micro markets and pantry.
