Hormel adds marketing executives to serve snack and retail segments

Hormel Foods Corp. has announced two leadership moves aimed at advancing its brand and retail strategy. Christie Crouch will lead marketing for key snacking and entertaining brands, while longtime executive Paul Peil takes the helm of marketing for the company's Fresh and Ready Meats division.

Christie Crouch has joined Hormel Foods Corp. as vice president of marketing for Snacking and Entertaining. In that role,  Crouch will lead all brand-building initiatives for the company’s portfolio of snacking and entertaining brands, including Planters, Corn Nuts, Hormel pepperoni and Hormel Gatherings.

Also, Paul Peil, a 35-year veteran with the company, was promoted to the role of vice president of marketing for Fresh and Ready Meats. In his new role, Peil will oversee fresh pork, Jennie-O, Hormel Cure 81 brand, and the deli category for retail customers.
