PPP Is Extended Through August 8

The deadline to apply for Paycheck Protection Program loans has been extended through Aug. 8. The Small Business Administration and the Treasury Department have also released the names of companies that have received more than $150,000 in loans through the program, according to an SBA press release.

The average size of the loan is about $100,000, Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin said in the release.

About $130 billion of the $660 billion designated to the program is still available, according to an article published on JDSupra.
