QSR Asks If Vending Is The Future Of Restaurants

Restaurants struggling with tight labor markets and increasing wage pressure  are looking to vending machines and kiosks as a way to streamline food ordering and delivery. QSR magazine published an article about the opportunity of using sophisticated vending machines to delivery fresh food to customers. From a California ramen restaurant to Farmer's Fridge salad vending success, the article delves into how vending machines and kiosks could assist restaurant owners. 

Editor's Insight: While not everything in the article was complimentary to the vending industry, operators should be proud that other foodservice segments are looking to us as the answer to their problems. We are ahead. We need to plan to stay that way.
