Amazon Reportedly Testing Restaurant Delivery Service

Aug. 27, 2015

Amazon is showing signs that it could soon be delivering meals from restaurants to workplaces and homes. GeekWire reports that the e-commerce giant has been testing restaurant meal delivery service in conjunction with its new Prime Now delivery service in Seattle, WA. According to delivery drivers, just Amazon employees are testing the service for now.

The recently released Amazon Prime Now allows customers in some locations to place an order and receive their purchase within one or two hours. Alcohol purchases are eligible for Prime Now delivery as well.
