Inflation Has Risen 2.3 Percent Annually For Last Three Months

Aug. 4, 2015

Consumers are seeing increasing prices on everything from rents to coffee as businesses finally pass on their higher costs, reports the Associated Press. It has been an unfamiliar sight since the Great Recession, but inflation is now ticking upwards with a rate of 2.3 percent annually during the last three months. This is a sign of a healthier economy since businesses have less fear of losing consumers as they pass on their own higher costs.
