The company also stated that 25¢ from every shake purchased will be donated to the regional YMCA to help fund youth sports and community activities.
Blint Shakes Founder and CEO, Oscar Perez, said that this is like "coming home" because the idea to start the company happened when he was working out at this "Y."
"I was in ill-health and my doctor told me to work out and eat well, so I started going to the YMCA to get into shape," Perez said. "After my workout, I wanted to replenish my body with nutrients, but I couldn't find anything that was very healthy," he added. "That's when I got the idea for Blint Shakes."
